Our current food supply has two major problems:
Around 61% of the population is overweight because we eat too much.
The minimum amount of nutrients we need are not contained in the food we do eat.
Take Spinach for example.
Spinach had 158 milligrams of iron per hundred grams when you bought it in 1948.Spinach you bought in 1965 0nly had 27 milligrams. By 1973 it was averaging 2.2.
